individual + Relational Therapy
Therapeutic support rooted in nervous system regulation, embodiment, curiosity and connection.
Therapy is an invitation to slow down and come into relationship with yourself. In a world that often asks us to push through, perform, or figure everything out on our own, our work together offers a different pace. Together, we'll gently explore your inner world, tend to your nervous system, and make space for the relationships—with yourself, with others, and with the living world—that support a life that feels more deeply your own.
Individual Therapy
Therapy with me tends to move at a thoughtful pace. While we'll certainly make space for insight, we'll also pay attention to your nervous system, your relationships, your body, and the broader stories that have shaped your life. My hope is to create a space where every part of you is welcome. Healing feels less like becoming someone new and more like returning to yourself with greater compassion, curiosity, and choice. We'll do deep work together. We'll probably laugh more than you expect. And yes, there may be a few curse words along the way.
Relational therapy
All relationships and identities are welcome here. Relational therapy is open to couples, partners, families, housemates, chosen family, and those exploring or building more communal ways of living.
Relationships have their own stories, patterns, and ways of asking for our attention. In relational therapy, we make space not only for each person’s experience, but for what happens between you—the places you connect, the places you get stuck, and the patterns you may find yourselves returning to again and again. Our work is less about deciding who is right and more about becoming curious about the relationship you’re creating together, making room for greater understanding, choice, and connection.
My approach
I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, attachment theory, and liberation-centered approaches, always adapting the work to the unique person sitting across from me. I tend to see things systemically—holding curiosity not only about what's happening within you, but about the relationships, families, communities, cultures, and larger systems you're living within. My hope isn't to fit you into a particular model, but to offer a space where curiosity, compassion, and relationship guide the process. Together, we'll explore the stories that have shaped you, determine what no longer serves you, and cultivate practices that feel more aligned with who you are and how you want to live.
Investment
Therapy asks us to make room—for our time, our attention, and yes, our financial resources. I recommend beginning with weekly or biweekly sessions, giving us the consistency needed to build our relationship, find our rhythm, and create some momentum in the work. As our work unfolds, we'll revisit the frequency of our sessions together, allowing it to shift as your needs and the work itself evolve.
I hold an awareness that care and healing are not inherently transactional, while also recognizing that this work exists within systems that require financial exchange. In an effort to hold both of those truths, Taproot uses an anti-oppressive fee structure that invites clients to self-select a rate based on their current circumstances, access to resources, and needs. No proof of income or financial disclosure is required.
A note about our fee scale
The Sustain rate reflects the true cost of providing this work and a living wage.
Taproot also offers rates above and below Sustain as part of our commitment to collective care and greater access to therapy. You'll be invited to thoughtfully self-select the rate that best reflects your circumstances, resources, and needs.

The first step is simply reaching out. Use the contact form to share a little about what brings you here, and I'll be in touch with next steps, which usually include either scheduling an intake session or a complimentary phone consultation call—a chance for us to get to know one another, answer your questions, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
-
Taproot is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement, and I can provide you superbills through Ivy Pay. I recommend checking with your insurance provider before we begin so you have a clear understanding of your coverage.

Yes, virtual sessions are available for clients located in Texas. We’ll decide together whether meeting virtually supports the work we’re doing, knowing that some seasons or experiences may be better held in person.
-
Your session time is held specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice, which gives me a reasonable opportunity to offer that time to someone else who may be waiting for care. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed sessions are charged the full session fee. If we're able to reschedule within the same calendar week, the fee is waived.
-
There’s no prescribed timeline for therapy. Some people come for a particular season, while others find value in longer-term work. Along the way, we’ll check in about what’s shifting, what still needs tending, and whether our work together continues to feel useful. You’re always welcome to revisit your goals, the pace of our work, or when it might feel time to bring therapy to a close.

I intentionally leave some cushion in my schedule for times when a little more support may be needed. If something comes up between sessions, you’re welcome to reach out, and when possible, we’ll find some additional time together. Taproot is not set up to provide on-demand crisis support or emergency response.
