Taproot began as a question: What kinds of offerings would feel both regenerative and deeply life-giving? Over time, that question became a therapy practice, a creative practice, and a growing collection of invitations rooted in the belief that healing is something we practice together.

A taproot runs deep before anything shows above ground. Even the softest, most easily overlooked plants are often anchored by roots that go further than you'd guess — steady and tenacious, even when what's visible looks fragile.

A "weed," after all, is just a plant growing somewhere someone decided it didn't belong. We believe every part of you belongs here.

every offering at taproot begins with an Invitation.

What if your body has been speaking to you all along? In a world that often asks us to push through, override our needs, and scatter our attention in every direction, we practice slowing down and listening again. Over time, we begin to trust the wisdom our bodies carry, making choices that feel more aligned with who we are and how we want to live.

Somatic Connection

Healing was never meant to happen alone. While insight can begin within us, lasting change often grows through relationship. It takes shape in the conversations we have, the meals we share, the neighbors we know, and the ways we choose to care for one another. Together, we explore what it means to tend to ourselves, and our communities, remembering that healing is both deeply personal and profoundly collective.

Community

What if every part of you belonged? The anxious, perfectionist and people-pleasing parts? And even the part that learned to survive. Rather than judging or trying to silence these parts, Internal Family Systems invites us to meet them with curiosity and compassion. As our inner relationships begin to soften, we often discover more choice, more self-trust, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

Personal Integration

Land Connection

The land has always been a teacher. Long before we learned to rush, produce, or separate ourselves from the living world, the land was quietly showing us that we belong. She holds us even now. In this practice, we begin to slow down, pay attention, and remember that we, too, are part of the ecosystems that sustain us.

Untangling from Capitalism + Colonialism

We were never meant to earn our worth. Many of us have inherited ways of living that measure our value by productivity, perfection, individualism, or constant striving — stories so old they can feel like truth. Together, we loosen their grip, not to trade one set of rules for another, but to make room for rest, relationship, interdependence, and choice, as you practice living in a way that feels more deeply your own.

Creativity + imagination

Creativity has always belonged to us. Long before it became something to monetize or master, it was how we made meaning, told stories, solved problems, and imagined new futures. We are invited to reconnect with creativity not as performance, but as a practice of curiosity, play, and possibility.
